Swansea Philharmonia Orchestra is an independent symphony orchestra made up of passionate, skilled musicians from Swansea and beyond. United by a shared love of classical music, we provide a welcoming and inclusive space for players aged 18 and over, of at least Grade 8 standard or equivalent, to come together, rehearse, and perform.


We are a community built on mutual respect, musical enjoyment, and a positive, friendly and supportive ethos. We work with youth groups and have a passion for charity fundraising alongside performing our music.

Our mission is to make orchestral music accessible and inspiring—for both our members and our audiences—while celebrating the joy of shared musical experience.
